Amrita University Admission process, Eligibility, Application Process
The 400 acre campus is well planned with infrastructure like academic buildings, adminstration wing, central library, hostels, guest house, staff-quarters, shopping complex, swimming pool and play grounds. The campus has built-up area of over 28 lakhs sq. feet linked by 7 km black topped roads. Eight hostels accomodated 5000 students. A swimming pool meeting Olympic standards is utlized by students, staff and others in the campus. Two power houses are installed with total generating capacity of 1660KVA to meet the shortage in power supply. Amrita also provides uninterrupted power and water supply round the clock.
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Central Library is a valuable partner in user’s pursuit towards excellence in learning and research. Our value lies in the valuable information resources, services and facilities that we provide to all users. The Central library has a carpet area of 81,000 sq feet. The library has been automated by the Libsys software. We have the open access system. We have a wide range of library materials that cater to various learning resources of 58103 books, 377 Periodicals, 3000+ online e-resources like e-journals, e-books, conference proceedings, e-databases and standards, 2650 Project reports, 7086 back-volumes, 4781 CD/DVDs resources and 14 Daily News Papers.
Separate hostel facilities are provided for girls and boys. Their stay in the hostel enables them to imbibe a holistic lifestyle with activities like yoga, sports and extra-curricular activities. There are eight hostels in the campus which accommodate above 3500 inmates. P.G students and final year U.G students are allotted single rooms. All hostels are equipped with solar water heater for hot water supply.Pure vegetarian food prepared under hygienic conditions is served in the student dining halls and the canteens from a central Kitchen. Night cafeteria is attached with all hostels. Students are not permitted to live in rented houses, lodges, either alone or in groups. Amrita attaches great importance to the nature of lifestyle in the campus. Tobacco, in any form and any other intoxicants are strictly prohibited.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is conducting its Engineering Entrance Examination every year on an all India basis for admission to the 4 year B.Tech. Degree programmes offered in the three campuses at Amritapuri (Kollam), Bengaluru and Ettimadai (Coimbatore). Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria will be admitted to the first year of 4 year B.Tech. programmes through counselling, based on their ranks in the Entrance Examination.
Amrita University Entrance Exam
About the Exam:
Amrita University will conduct Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam (AEEE 2018) in both offline (pen and paper based) and online mode (computer based test). The application form of AEEE 2018 will be available in both online and offline mode from December 1, 2017. The last date to submit the filled application form of AEEE 2018 is March 31, 2018. The hall ticket of AEEE 2018 will be available only after the slot booking process is completed by the candidates who opted for the online mode of examination.The computer based test (CBT) will be conducted from April 19-22, while the pen and paper (P&P) test will be held on April 28. The result of the candidates who attempted AEEE 2018 examination will be released on May 5. All admissions will be done based on the ranks secured by the candidates in the AEEE examination. AEEE Eligibility Criteria 2018
The following eligibility criteria of AEEE 2018 are required to be met by the candidates. If the candidates are not able to satisfy the criteria then he/she will not be termed eligible for admissions.
- All candidates should have been born on or after July 1, 1997.
- The candidates should have qualified 10+2 (or equivalent) examination.
- An aggregate of 60% marks should have been secured by the candidates in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. In each subject, the candidates should have scored not less than 55%.
AEEE Application Form 2018
The application form of AEEE 2018 will be available for all candidates in both online and offline mode from December 1. While filling the application form, the candidates will have to make sure that all required information is provided. The final date for online submission of AEEE 2018 application form is March 31. The last date for receiving OMR application form is also March 31, 2018.
Steps to Fill AEEE 2018 Application Form (Online Mode)
The online application form of AEEE 2018 will be available from December 1, 2017.
- Registration:The candidates will have to register themselves using their email id and date of birth.
- Filling AEEE 2018 Application Form: Personal, academic and contact details will have to be filled by the candidates.
- Upload Photograph and Signature: A photograph and signature of the candidates as per the required specifications will have to be uploaded.
- Payment of fee: The application fee has to be paid through online (net banking/credit card/debit card) or offline mode (demand draft).
- Submission of Application Form: The filled application form has to be submitted. If paid through DD then the copy of application form along with DD has to be submitted offline.
Process to Fill AEEE 2018 Application Form (Offline Mode)
The candidates will be able to access the AEEE 2018 OMR application form in person or through post on November 15, 2017. The printed OMR application form of AEEE 2018 will be available in several branches of Federal Bank, Dhanlakshmi Bank and Post Offices. Payment of the application fees has to be done by the candidates while obtaining the application form.
The application form can also be obtained by post from the admission coordinators of the different campus of Amrita School of Engineering. A written request will have to be sent including the candidate’s full communication address along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 1000 drawn in favour of Amrita School of Engineering payable at Coimbatore.

AEEE Slot Booking 2018
All registered candidates, who have opted for the Computer Based Test, will have to book their preferred slot through the slot booking process. The candidates will have to login using their application number date of birth to book their slots. The preferred test centre, date and slot has to be selected by the candidates. Only after completing the slot booking of AEEE 2018, the candidates will be able to download their admit card. The candidates will have to note that the state of the slot may change till the selection procedure is over. This may occur as other candidates will also be using the slot booking process simultaneously. The booked slot cannot be changed after final confirmation.
AEEE Hall Ticket 2018
The hall ticket of AEEE 2018 will be available for all candidates who have successfully registered themselves. The candidates will have to enter their email id or application number along with the date of birth to access AEEE 2018 hall ticket. The name of the candidate, his/her registration number, exam timings, address of the centre and more information will be present in the hall ticket of AEEE 2018. All candidates will have to download and present the hall ticket at the exam centre. If the candidates do not bring the hall ticket then he/she will not be permitted to appear for the entrance exam. Along with the AEEE 2018 hall ticket, the candidates will also have to present any of the following identity proof:

- ID Card issued by School Last Attended

- Any other Document which Proves Identity
AEEE 2018 Answer Key
The official answer key of AEEE 2018 will be updated in this article if it is released by the admission authorities. As of yet, the University has never released the answer key. The answer key helps the candidates in calculating their secured scores in the examination before the announcement of the result. The answer key released by the various coaching institutes will also be updated here if available.
AEEE Cutoff 2018
The concerned authorities of Amrita University will be responsible for the preparation of AEEE 2018 cutoff. The cutoff is the minimum marks that a candidate has to score to be eligible for admissions into the participating institutes. AEEE 2018 cutoff will be different for each course and institute. Various factors such as number of candidates, total number of seats, difficulty level and previous cutoff trends.
AEEE Result 2018
The result of AEEE 2018 will be published in online mode on May 5, 2018. The candidates who have attempted the examination will be able to check their ranks. The candidates will be able to access the AEEE 2018 result by logging in using their registration number, date of birth and security code. The All India Ranks of the candidates will be displayed in the rank list of AEEE 2018.
AEEE 2018 Counselling
The counselling session of AEEE 2018 will be held in offline mode. All qualified candidates will be required to report at any of the three campuses of Amrita University for the counselling. The selected candidates will be able to download their counselling letter in online mode. During the counselling session, the candidates will have to pay Rs. 10,000 which will be non refundable. The following original documents will have to be produced by the candidates for verification.

AEEE Seat Allotment 2018
The Seat Allotment of AEEE 2018 will be done based on the ranking of the candidates while taking into consideration their eligibility and preference of seats. Before the seat allotment, the candidates will also have to pay Rs. 50,000 by demand draft as part of tuition fees. After the candidate is successfully allotted, he/she will have to pay the remaining fees and complete all formalities. If the admission formalities are not completed on time then his/her admission will get automatically cancelled. After accepting the allotted seat, the original certificates of the candidate will be retained by the University.
