- A. Raja Pharmacy College is one of the very few foremost colleges of the Rajas Group of Colleges, Vadakangulam, which had been established 25 years back in 1988 by Sardhar Dr. S. A. Raja, the Founder of Rajas Group of Colleges. And it is the only traditional Pharmacy College available for the three districts of Kanniyakumari, Thoothukudi and Tirunelveli in Tamilnadu.Our college is located in Raja Nagar, Vadakangulam. It’s just 8 km from Kavalkinaru junction. The college is situated amidst wind mills which extend a few kilometres around Aralvaimozhi, the village having the largest wind farm in Asia. The view from the college is a serene one which has no obstruction to the mountains and wind mills, which makes it a wonderful location for the students to settle down with peaceful minds to have an exotic time period throughout their course.
We maintain a vast library which enrolls books on all departments in the college. We also have a variety of books offering general knowledge, knowledge of culture and tradition, art and other departments of science. Every year new sets of books fill the racks with older books. Latest versions of books take the main places in the library.
Training at Hospital Pharmacy and for Patient Counselling is provided for the students at Sardhar Raja Mission Hospital, Kavalkinaru.
Hostels for boys and girls are available in separate campuses. Healthy and delicious food is being provided for the students throughout the year.

Pharmacy education in the state of Tamil Nadu is governed by the Tamil Nadu Pharmacy Council, which is working under the guidance of Pharmacy Council of India. The council has six members, out of which five members are nominated by the Tamil Nadu Government and one member is elected by the Tamil Nadu Medical Council. The council also has three ex-officio members.
Eligibility for admission to B. Pharm course in Tamil Nadu:
For seeking admission to the Bachelor of Pharmacy course in the state of Tamil Nadu, candidates must have completed their higher secondary in science stream either from an institution approved by the Higher Education Board of Tamil Nadu or the Central Board of Secondary Education or from an institution approved by any other board of higher education in the nation. Admission is offered to the students based on the merit secured by candidates in the qualifying examination.
